Complete articles that present a research that is either quantitative or qualitative. The article should bring an analysis of the research results and based in the theories selected by the author. This type of Article is presented in Parallel Sessions with discussion coordinated by the moderator. It must have a Maximum of 30 pages, including tables, figures and references. It must follow the conference standards. Each author is limited to 3 works in the Full Paper (PSE) and Research Communication categories together.

Articles that present research in progress ,  whose results still need to be further investigated but that allow to foresee the importance of the work. The approach can be qualitative, quantitative, bibliographic analysis or present a theoretical discussion. Also included in this type are articles that report the application of ICT in different areas of society and bring a discussion on the theories that explain and support such report. The work is presented by the authors in a session to be designated in the PROGRAM, Maximum of 20 pages, including tables, figures and references. It must follow the congress standard. Each author is limited to 3 works in the Full Paper (PSE) and Research Communication (COM) categories together.

The Master's Student Project is a text that clearly indicates the following aspects: Motivation for the theme / subject; bibliographic analysis indicating the texts in which the author can develop his methodological and applied approach. As for size and format, the submitted text must follow the same standard as a COM - Research Comunication / Research.

The PhD student project is a text that clearly indicates the following aspects: Motivation for the theme / subject; deep bibliographic analysis indicating the texts in which the author developed his methodological approach and applied to the theme. It should show the theoretical construction as well as the outline of the research that will be or is being carried out and possible alternatives considered. As for size and format, the submitted text must follow the same standard as a COM - Research Communication / Research in Progress.

The postdoctoral student project is similar to the doctoral student project in both content and format. The text must contain the same information as the doctoral project.

Expanded abstract in the areas of Information Technology, Information and Communication Systems developed by students and professors from the Faculties of Technology and other areas. The works submitted in this type of submission have already undergone a previous selection process in the respective schools. Size: minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 pages.

This modality is intended for companies, researchers and professionals who wish to submit a proposal for a workshop, tutorial or panel in order to offer the public present at the congress a direct, deep and practical approach on any topic related to the congress, both in theory and in practice. The proposal must include the following information: Title, type, name of the authors' institution; name of the proponent, presenters and respective biography; detailed description of the subject, its importance to the public and topics that will be presented and discussed.
