RULES FOR THE\u00a0 18TH CONTECSI – INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT\u00a0 ISSN:2448-1041\u00a0 VIRTUAL

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION – WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FOR THE 18TH CONTECSI VIRTUAL?<\/h4>

REGISTRATION\u00a0 IS THE ACT OF MAKING THE PAYMENT THAT GIVES THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATION IN THE ENTIRE EVENT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES ESTABLISHED IN THIS REGULATION. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT REGISTRATION FEES ARE EXCLUSIVE FOR THE 18TH CONTECSI VIRTUAL 2021, CONSIDERING THE PANDEMIC SITUATION CAUSED BY COVID19.<\/strong><\/p>

AUTHORS AND NON-AUTHORS, ACADEMICS AND PROFESSIONALS, ENTREPRENEURS, POSTGRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS CAN REGISTER.
EACH WORK MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE REGISTERED AND PAYING AUTHOR. EACH AUTHOR IS LIMITED TO THREE WORKS. EACH WORK CAN ONLY HAVE A MAXIMUM OF FOUR AUTHORS.\u00a0<\/p>

BY SUBMITTING THE REGISTRATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTECSI VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT, THE ENROLLED PARTICIPANT DECLARES TO ACCEPT AND AGREE WITH THE GENERAL CONDITIONS DETAILED BELOW:<\/p>

1 – GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION<\/h5>

1.1 – The PARTICIPANT is fully responsible for the veracity of the data informed in the registration.
1.2 – The PARTICIPANT accepts that the benefits added by the Congress derive from the assiduous and effective participation in sessions and discussions of the event, as well as the compliance with the date and time determined for the live presentation and other activities included in the Congress program.
1.3 – The PARTICIPANT accepts the rules of security, access and handling of data, information and systems belonging to the organizers of the 18th CONTECSI VIRTUAL, always taking care for the smooth running of the activities.
1.4 – The PARTICIPANT’s registration will be carried out upon the completion of the payment process.
1.5 – The registration fee gives the registered PARTICIPANT the full access to the official activities of CONTECSI\u00a0 program, virtual access to the Book-Summary of the Proceedings, Certificate of Participation\/Authorship and DOI registration in the CROSSREF. The Certificate of Participation and Authorship will be issued under the following conditions:\u00a0 All Registered participants, authors and non authors\u00a0 must participate in at least 50% of the event’s activities.\u00a0 Authors must participate\u00a0 in the presentation sections of of the respect work (s).\u00a0
1.6 – Registration is individual per participant and not per work. Registration refers to the set of items mentioned in 1.5 and offered to the participant during the event.\u00a0<\/p>

2 – REGISTRATION CANCELLATION<\/h5>

2.1 – The cancellation of a registration by the registered participant’s initiative must be formalized in writing, including documentation that justifies the request and sent it to the email: contecsiusp@tecsi.org\u00a0 until 10 (ten) calendar days before the start of the event. In this case 50% of the registration fee will be refunded and the work(s) and the name of the registrant and co-authors, when applicable, will be canceled from the event.\u00a0 Requests of cancellation made after the above mentioned date will not be considered and there will be no refund. Applicants who do not cancel by the date mentioned in 2.1 and do not participate in the Congress will still be responsible for paying the registration fee.<\/p>

3 – CHANGES IN CONTECSI – DURING THE OFFICIAL QUARANTINE PERIOD AS DETERMINED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE OF S\u00c3O PAULO COVID19<\/h5>

3.1 – The Coordination reserves the right to change the date of the Congress as well as the program, if necessary for the smooth running of the event.
3.2 – In case the 18Th CONTECSI does not take place or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Congress Organizers (Force Majeure), the Conference Organizers will not be liable for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transport costs, costs accommodation, financial losses or any other indirect or consequential damages. In these circumstances, the Congress Organizers reserve the right to retain the registration fee and use it for the next Congress, or to reimburse the participant after deducting all costs already incurred with the organization of the Congress and which they cannot be recovered from third parties.<\/p>

The Participant’s images and voice can be registered during the congress. These records and the Participant’s name may be used free of charge by the CONTECSI organizers and USP \u2013 University of S\u00e3o Paulo, CNPJ No. 63.025.530\/0001-04 by any means, throughout the national territory and abroad, without time limit, provided that the uses are related to the dissemination of CONTECSI.<\/p>
